Charming cottage in Normandy
Our party of 6 stayed here for two nights in October. Especially helpful was the presence of a main bedroom on the bottom floor, as a member of our party was unable to climb stairs. We loved the location of the house, as it was an short drive to Omaha beach, a quick drive to Bayeux and not too far from Mont St Michel. We could've used more soaps and toilet paper, but otherwise, it was a great stay!

I booked this for me and my family and it was perfect. It was spacious and cozy all at the same time! The location was out if the city center which lead to amazing views and a calm environment. Check-in was very flexible as we weren’t sure our exact time of arrival. Overall, the stay was amazing, would definitely recommend this place when travelling to Bayeux!

The property is not super easy to find but clear instructions are provided. It is situated in a pretty place and is very quiet. All basic necessities are provided apart from soap/shower gel. A dryer would also be welcome! Overall, it is a comfortable place to stay and I would recommend it!

Contact facile et réactif avec l'hôte et la conciergerie pour l'arrivée et le départ. Maison conforme à l'annonce. Literie confortable. Petit bémol, un peu d'humidité. Mais très beau séjour

Lovely big house with lots of space for two couples and kids. Great to have a bedroom down stairs with en suite. Kitchen well equipped. Great oven and coffee machine. Only problem we had was finding property as address doesn't bring you right there. Maybe a signpost at the roadside would be helpful. We all loved staying. 5 mins drive from Bayeaux. 10 minutes from beach.

La Hulotte Country House is located in the beautiful countryside just outside of historic Bayeux (10 min drive/25 min walk along a path). The country house is beside the owner’s main house, but it still felt private. The garden is beautiful. With three bedrooms, it was a very comfortable base for our group of four while we visited the attractions of Normandy (Bayeux Tapestry, Mont St Michel, Saint-Malo, Omaha Beach).

it has been a wonderful stay. the house has everything you need and it is 5 mns from bayeaux and 10 minutes from arromanches yet in the countryside. the host was lovely 😍 unexpectedly the dishwasher broke down but she heard us immediately and sorted it out. I am in a wheelchair and the house is perfect with an adapted bathroom . The host was very sensitive and let me park in a very accessible spot. I will be back! thanks 😊

I would recommend this place if anyone is looking to visit Normandy (D-Day) short distance to the beaches. Thank you so much for opening your home.

La Hulotte est une pépite. Parfaitement aménagée, literie top, environnement calme, jardin clos pour les animaux. Et c'est ultra agréable d'avoir de la vaisselle en quantité suffisante. Bref comme à la maison ! Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Nous reviendrons.

Tout à fait conforme à l'annonce.👍 La réception et la remise des clés se sont effectuées très facilement Hôte agréable, très réactif suite à petit problème de plomberie (solutionné dans l'heure de notre arrivée) Nous conservons l'adresse pour un séjour plus long à une autre période de l'année. le logement est super bien équiper. Presque parfait pour une personne a mobilité réduite a l intérieur tout y est pour le confort a l extérieur on doit passer par un chemin de terre qui est glissant a la rosée du matin ou quand il pleut c'est dommage. Mais le séjour était bien agréable très bonne communication. Il y a tout sur place pour notre confort. J'y retournerais avec plaisir.

Un agréable lieu, où on se sent tout de suite comme à la maison. Une terrasse agréable, une cuisine toute équipée et bien complète, un RDC entièrement accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite. L'accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire des lieux. L'accès au jardin est également un plus quand le soleil est au rendez vous. Notre séjour à 6 s'est très bien déroulé !

Bonjour, Très beau logement au calme,décoré avec soin,avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Cependant le réfrigérateur est tres long a refroidir (48h pour avoir de l'eau fraiche) et cafetière (nespresso) qui ne fonctionne pas. Très beau terrain, néanmoins pas clôturé comme dit dans l'annonce (le chien s'est sauvé plusieurs fois chez la voisine) et est passé sous la cloture côté pâture. Il manquerai peut-être une petite piscine( style tubulaire) ou jacuzzi (meme gonflable) pour se rafraîchir ou se détendre au calme . Cordialement

Ein wirklich charmantes, schönes und liebevoll renoviertes Haus mit einem großen, schönen Garten mit Bäumen und viel Platz. Es gibt drei schöne Schlafzimmer mit guten Betten. Zwei Bädern und drei Toiletten. Und einem großen Wohnbereich mit Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber nicht vollkommen einsamen. Es gibt Wanderwege direkt vor der Tür, wo man auch gut mit dem Hund spazieren gehen kann. In zehn Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Bayeux mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf, vielen netten Restaurants und einer schönen Altstadt zum Bummeln. Oder in der anderen Richtung in Port en Bessin, einer kleinen Hafenstadt. Zum Baden braucht man 20 Minuten zu den großen, schönen Stränden von Omaha Beach. Wir sind nett empfangen worden, die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert - wir können dieses Haus und die Lage absolut empfehlen.
