Petite maison moderne et sa dépendance à 5min à pieds de la mer! Extrêmement bien équipée, on s’y sent comme à la maison. Beaucoup d’activités accessibles à pied (plage d’omaha, cimetière américain) ou à qq minutes en voiture. Vraiment parfait pour visiter pour visiter la région!

Tolles Haus und tolle Lage, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Für die Region für uns die beste Unterkunft. Sehr sehr ruhige Lage. Das einzige was etwas komplizierter war, war die Müllentsorgung. Sind wir aus Deutschland halt nicht so gewohnt und könnte bei der Gebühr der Endreinigung gern inklusive sein. Es gibt nicht in der näheren Umgebung nicht viele Möglichkeiten nett essen zu gehen. Das war aber alles nicht schlimm. Wenn man die Normandie uns besonders die D-Day Geschichte kennenlernen möchte, ist Colleville sur mer der ideale Ausgangspunkt

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage des Hauses ist einfach super, besonders wenn man Ruhe sucht. Es sind nur wenige Meter zum Omaha Beach und zum amerikanischen Friedhof. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, die Kommunikation war super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das einzige was etwas komplizierter war, war die Müllentsorgung. Und es gibt in der näheren Umgebung kaum Möglichkeiten nett Essen zu gehen.

We had the most magical’s day. The house is beautiful, was presented in spotless condition to us. It had all amenities and the proximity to the beach is incredible. The only small stress we had was the agency in Bayeux who were slow to respond to emails and issue instructions for check-in and checkout.

Frederick’s place really was a beautiful holiday home, and our teenage son loved having the little house to himself . Very clean and quiet location with lots to do a short drive away, the American Cemetery is within walking distance as is WN62 and the beach itself which is vast. We would have liked an earlier check in and an electric fan or two would be a good addition for hot weather . Expensive but you get what you pay for so we have no complaints and wish we could have stayed longer.

A very private location close to Omaha beach. Car is a must if you stay here. Loved the location and the space. We did have a few problems. The host could have done a much better job of prepping the space. We agreed to pick up the keys at the host office. Lesson Learned for us. Always have the host meet you at the space. Some small issues, some issues that made people in our group not happy. Unexpected blaring alarm when we opened the door. Since the host was not there, it took a while to shut off. No hot water at first. We later found out that the water heater needed to be turned on. Host could of prepped this. Dishes in cupboard not really clean and had to be washed before first use (I do this anyway, but they were dirty). Lots of spiders in the guest house and cobwebs. Wifi in the main house, but none in the guest house. Cell signal is not great so wifi is a must. Host responded well to my questions, but 20 minutes of prepping the house and cleaning could = 5 stars

Maison très bien située à 5 min à pied de la plage et tout très du cimetière américain de Colleville. Cadre très reposant avec un ruisseau qui longe tout le grand jardin privatif et arboré. Maison très bien équipée et très récente. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

The house is very well situated, only five minutes walk and you are on the beach. The house is very well equipped and was very comfortable for us. I would highly recommend staying here we really enjoyed our visit.

Fabulous location for exploring the Normandy beaches
The property was well thought out and extremely well equipped. Very comfortable for the five of us with a nice garden for the kids to play in. The location is fabulous - only a five minute walk and you’re on Omaha beach and very close to lots of museums etc. I would highly recommend this house. Many thanks for the stay Georgie and family
