Un petit nid de paradis douillet superbement bien situé dans une petite ville historique à voir.
Positive: La propreté. Le confort. Le calme puisque le logement se trouve dans une cour. La grande baie vitrée. Le cadeau d'accueil (1 bouteille de cidre, des bonbons au beurre, des pads de café, des sachets de thé et du sucre). La literie est excellente. Le système électrique pour occulter et pour l'ouverture /fermeture de la fenêtre de toit (Velux) est géniale. Le WC du rez-de-chaussée et du 1er étage. La position géographique est parfaite. à moins de 50 m de la roue à aube et de l'artère principale, Rue Saint-Jean et de l'Office du Tourisme. Negative: Il n'y a rien de négatif. On a juste signalé au départ à l'accueillant qu'il y avait un problème d'écoulement (écoulement très lent) avec l'évier de la salle de bain et celui de la cuisine.

Positive: Very modern apartment in an old rustic building. The property was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the kitchen, the bed, shower everything. Negative: Although the rules say you can check in until 7pm, we were told we would have to pick the keys up at a different location from a lockbox when I revised our ETA to 6:45pm. We were driving from Epernay and did our best to text the host but our timing was difficult to manage. This made our arrival more difficult. Better explanation of how parking worked would have been helpful. We received a text telling us of our "duties" which must be done when we left. We were to "defeat" the linens and remove all trash and bottles. I have no idea how to "defeat" linens or what I was supposed to do with the trash. I left it outside in the courtyard. I couldn't find the lockbox at the apartment so we had to leave the door unlocked and the key on the refrigerator.

Wonderful leisurely stay in a quaint townhouse close to all major amenities.
Positive: We have had a lovely stay in Bayeux, the accommodation is excellent, everything we needed was here, the best place we have ever stayed and we plan to come back. Everything spotlessly clean, lovely quiet area, neighbours very respectful of privacy. House is beautiful!!! Just off the main street. Close to shops, restaurants, museums etc. Negative: Tiles outside the front door are extremely slippy due to winter build up, shower base also very slippy.

Logement bien agencé, moderne et avec tous les équipements nécessaires ( linge de lit, serviettes de bain, électroménager, finition impeccable, thé, café, bouteille de cidre en cadeau et petits biscuits à notre arrivée) Arrivée tardive possible avec récupération des clefs de manière autonome. Positive: Location was very close to some of the best restaurants in town. Free parking lot right next door. Grocery store was within 50 feet. Tourist attractions were within easy walking distance. Management was very accommodating in getting us a fan for some of the warmer days. Apartment had been remodeled with modern amenities. But still had an old world charm. The house was really good, looked just like the photos and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, it really was a great house. Downsides were the check in/out - I really think they should have a key box. Although we could check in earlier, we had to wait for someone to turn up with a key and they were half an hour later than we agreed. Check out was difficult as there was no-one available to meet us the early time we wanted to go so we had to walk to their head office to drop off the key, fortunately this was on the way to the train station where we were heading. We didn’t hear back about the check out instructions for a few hours the day before which made us quite anxious. The bedroom floor under the stairs was dirty. Overall a great place and location, I would still recommend, but the communication and check out experience did let it down.

Great location in Bayeux! So close to everything. Restaurants and shops are everywhere. Bayeux is absolutely charming. Great home base for going to the D-Day beaches and Mont St. Michel. Positive: Location was fantastic! Close to all restaurants, museums, etc. Very clean apartment with all the comforts of home. Was wonderful to have a washing machine! Nicolas was fabulous to work with during our planning and our arrival. Negative: I would only make a couple of suggestions. Please add a small portable circulating fan of some sort in the bedroom. Even though the temperature outside was lovely, it was quite stuffy upstairs at night and since there are no screens on the windows or skylight, leaving them open all night was not really an option. It would also be nice to have some hooks in the bathroom to hang toiletry bags and/or additional counter space. Washcloths are also needed in the bathroom. Finally some type of additional railing is needed for safety for the top steps of the staircase.

EXCELLENT AND COMFORTABLE BAYEUX ACCOMMODATION
Positive: Our host was excellent. He met us right on time, gave us a tour and instructions, and helped arrange a pick-up for the train station. His English language skills were superb! Location was excellent: close to a supermarket, restaurants, shopping and attractions/museums. There is a very nice pizza restaurant next door, and other restaurants just 3 minutes away by foot. The bathroom upstairs by the bedroom is spacious and nicely outfitted; the bedroom has decent storage for clothing. The bed is quite comfortable. The kitchen and living room are compact but comfortable and nicely appointed. Plenty of dishes, utensils and cookware available. We found this apartment to be almost perfect for our stay in Bayeux. Negative: This apartment needs some window covers on the front of the apartment; it's too open and made us feel a bit uncomfortable, especially at night. There are pull-down shades over the kitchen eating bar to shield the living room, but that's not enough, in our opinion. Some hooks by the door would be nice for hanging up jackets, umbrellas, and such.

Bayeux aan de voordeur.
Positive: De ligging van de "gite" is echt midden in het oude centrum van Bayeux. Binnen 200 meter van de voordeur waren de watermolens op 600 meter de Kathedraal en het "tapijt van Bayeux" . Maar binnen ontbrak het aan echt niets. Als je zelf wilt koken heb je alleen de ingrediënten en de zin nodig. Alle andere benodigdheden zijn aanwezig. Een heel fijn binnenplaatsje voorziet je van de rust tijdens vakantie en de markt om de hoek van al het lekkers dat Normandië te bieden heeft. Negative: De slaapbank in de kamer mocht wel zijleuningen hebben. Verder is alles top. Zelfs de tweede toilet.👍

Positive: Central location. Clean flat and well stocked re equipment Negative: Advertised free parking but it isn’t really. The nearby car park you have up to 4 hours a day. It’s not horribly expensive but I think it’s more helpful to warn people there parking isn’t completely gratuit!

Positive: Excellent location, close to everything you need in Bayeux. Very quiet. Clean. Excellent host. Negative: A few very minor things. No paper towel which is pretty necessary when you have a kitchen. No bug screens on the windows and no blinds for the downstairs living room (only an issue if you use the couch bed).

New facility but with definite drawbacks.
Positive: Great location. New, modern appliances. Very nice kitchen area. Negative: Very inconvenient to have the bedroom up very steep stairs. Bedroom was very stuffy/warm even though daytime high temperatures were only about 78 to 80°F. No air conditioning and no portable fan for relief. Barely given enough toilet paper for our three night stay with no extra rolls. Laureen, the contact person for the property, was extremely difficult to communicate with via text as she had very few English speaking skills. Note that you must wash and clean any dishes or glasses used and put away or else you will be charged a fee. We would stay at a local hotel if we were to return to Bayeux.

Exceptional location at an affordable price and lovely decor.
Positive: The location was just off the main road, so it’s easy to access everything in the city center, and yet the rental is in a garden cove so it’s quiet. The owners were very accommodating on check-in and check-out times. Negative: Nothing, it was wonderful. Those with mobility concerns or little children should know, however, that the stairs are narrow to the upper floor and obviously up to loft area.

Ideal place to stay in historic Bayeux.
Positive: The flat is very comfortable and well maintained. It has everything you would need. You can't beat the location. It is just a short walk from the cathedral and the significant historical sites of the town. There are multiple restaurants close by and a grocery store as well. Yet, it is set back, with its own courtyard, so you don't feel like you are on the street. It has a washing machine. Wi-fi was excellent. Everything about the place was well thought out. Free parking is within a reasonable walk. Negative: I can't think of anything negative about it. It was perfect for our purposes.

Short Family Break Bayeux
Positive: Excellent accommodation in the centre of Bayeux which was within walking distance to restaurants, museums (Including the Bayeux Tapestry) and the Cathedral. No onsite parking, which wasn't a problem as we got parked around 50m away! The, accommodation had character yet appeared to be newly refurbished with a modern feel. Staff were friendly and very accommodating (we changed our arrival and departure times - which wasn't Problem). Thank you, would most definitely book again! Negative: No comment

Ein Schmuckstück als Unterkunft in einer wunderschönen Stadt.
Positive: Sehr schön renoviertes Apartment in einem historischen Gebäude im Zentrum von Bayeux, von wo aus sich die Stadt wunderbar erkunden lässt. Das Apartment geht in einen Innenhof und ist absolut ruhig. Im Apartment findet sich alles, was man braucht. In unmittelbarer Nähe kann man kostenfrei parken. Negative: Es hat uns nicht gestört, und es liegt am historischen Gebäude: Die Schlafmöglichkeiten verteilen sich über drei Ebenen: Schlafsofa im EG, Doppelbett im 1. Stock und dann noch ein Bett auf einer Empore. Unsere Jungs haben das super gefunden, aber wer Schwierigkeiten mit Treppen hat, sollte das wissen.

Abbiamo molto apprezzato l’appartamento , situato nel centro di Bayeux a pochi passi dalla cattedrale e dai molti ristoranti , con un parcheggio a pagamento ( solo di giorno) dietro casa. Alloggio su due piani, luminoso, recentissimamente e finemente ristrutturato con grande gusto . Pulitissimo e attrezzatissimo. Letti comodi, bagno ampio e luminoso, piccolo cortile a disposizione . Great location and a very nice unit. It was missing sheets, and it was difficult communicating this with the host, and they tried to replace the sheets but brought the wrong size. That wasn’t a big deal, but could have been improved. We were told to have all dishes washed and dried and stored before we left, so don’t plan on making your family a nice breakfast on departure date, since you’ll be waiting for the dishwasher to finish or washing them by hand (nearly all units I’ve rented, ask you to place dishes in the dishwasher before leaving). There are no blinds in the living room, so privacy is a little limited if staying on the sofa couch and the sun brightens the room early morning. The unit was extremely clean and matched the description and we really enjoyed staying there.

Clean and comfortable in the perfect location
My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay in Bayeux at this fully updated, cozy apartment. The check in and check out process was easy and friendly. The place is spotless, has a comfortable bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. We chose to eat in restaurants and there are many in walking distance. The bedroom is up a flight of stairs, that was not a problem for us but may be difficult for some older folks. This was a perfect base for exploring Normandy.

Perfect place in Bayeux
My wife and I stayed in this flat for four nights while in Bayeux. It exceeded our expectations in all respects. Nicolas was very responsive and friendly, helping us as we struggled with a few things that were unusual for us, particularly in terms of appliances. The flat itself is very comfortable for 2 people and is perfectly located. We were within close walking distance of the downtown sites, as well as restaurants and a grocery store. If fact, there is a restaurant next door, and a grocery store within about 100 meters. We had a car and there is free parking nearby enough to make it workable. Should we ever return to Bayeux, we would certainly book here again.
