Positive: Great location!!! Close to D-day sites and in the cutest town!!!! Everything was walking distance. Parking lot right outside of apartment was wonderful too. I was a little apprehensive booking as I read mixed reviews. I really don’t get why people weren’t happy. The place is perfect for a short stay. My family of 4 was very comfortable!! We stayed here in middle of our European vacation. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was perfect. I read about how they do not provide many washing tabs so I brought some from home. I was able to wash clothes and we can start the second part of our trip with clean clothes. The booking company was fantastic to work with. They were so responsive to all our questions. Negative: There was a strange smell coming from one of the bathrooms. The dryer also put off a very strange smell.

Manque la présence d'un radiateur dans la cuisine et seconde salle de bain. Un problème d'odeur dans celle-ci a fait que nous l'avons peu utilisée. Hormis cela, la pièce principale est accueillante avec belle vue sur la place saint Patrice et la cathédrale. Literie de qualité. Appartement bien placé, tout ce qui est à voir est à proximité. Attention la verbalisation est rapide, ne pas rester sur la place st Patrice le temps de s'installer 😞

Description said there was an elevator the person who greeted us told us we had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs only to find out later there was an elevator. Temperature had been hot and with the apartment all closed up it was very hot when we arrived. The windows could have been open to at least get some cross circulation of air. Only one fan I asked for 2 more for the bedrooms but was refused. Shade was broken in one bedroom. Other worn out and shabby items around the apartment. Person who greeted us could not speak English so could not describe where the parking was. We finally found the instructions to get there in the rules. Yes Rules. Not a very welcoming term for paying guests. All in all the locations of the apartment was ok but customer service was very poor and I don’t recommend if more than 2 people because of the bathroom situation

A good place to stay in Bayeux.
The apartment was conveniently located. The parking was great, once you knew that Saturday is Market Day!! I found my car lifted into the centre because it was in the way of incoming Marchandier! The place itself is sparse and charmless. The easy chairs are not the most comfortable. TV was there but too complicated to sort out if you wanted English-speaking fare to watch. The beds were comfortable enough. The kitchen was functional with adequate cutlery and crockery. In summary, the place was fine if you were going to spend a lot of time out and about - which is what we did. Functional sums it up.

Could be a really nice apartment if some care was put into it.
Positive: The location is good. Walking distance to the town centre. Negative: The keys need to be collected at a different venue. There’s a comment on reviews from May about the shower smelling of sewerage. The shower smells very bad, so this matter is still not resolved. No decent blinds in the bedrooms, especially the bedroom with the two single beds. The blind in that bedroom is old and frayed and sits about 15cm from the window frame therefore offering no protection from light or the afternoon sun. The room was hot and there’s no fans. There’s no comfortable couch, just four arm chairs lined up. Not very homely.

Bayeux is a beautiful town a very much worth a visit, its not just about the tapestry. Nice place but poorly looked after
Positive: Good location, easy parking and comfortable beds. Negative: The electrics in the property were a concern. A number of plug points didn't work. Sometimes plus got stuck and were very hard to take out. There were exposed wires on some of the ceiling lights and in one of the shower rooms the 4 light fixture only had one light working and an exposed fixture - not safe! There was very little toilet paper and only one dishwasher tablet. A few more were promised but they never materialised. In the kitchen there was only one functioning cooking knife and one that was broken. Overall a nice property but not really cared for.

Positive: It was a good location. Negative: The apartment did have 2 showers with sinks but only one toilet. So for 5 people that was a small issue. It never said that in the booking description that there was only one toilet. Also, the shower that shared a common wall with the toilet room smelled like sewage. A majority of light bulbs were out. They didn’t leave us the towels as described and they left us one 1/4 roll of toilet paper. They did bring us more when I asked as well as towels. The place needs some work and the decor is patchy. Some of the walls have nails with nothing. Lamps that don’t work, art work on the floor against the wall. It could be a great apartment but it needs work and the sewage smells needs to be dealt with. In the description it sounds like it’s way more put together and comes with way more than they really offer. The description states toiletries which there weren’t any. That wasn’t an issue since we had our own.

Good location on a square in Bayeux, a fun little town in Normandy. You can pay to park right across the street or use free parking about two blocks away. It is not complicated. Apartment itself was big and functional. Building has elevator which is nice. Basically what you need if you are exploring this part of France.

They demand $250 deposit at the end and require you to take your garbage to the city trash down the street. They threaten you with $50 charges if you don’t turn off all the heaters and carry your garbage down the street and strip your beds and put away all dishes even ones in the dishwasher that have been run. It really cuts into the time when you’re leaving so plan extra time. to take care of their work

Positive: The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The location was excellent. Negative: First, long after the reservation was made we were notified that in addition to all the charges, taxes and fees, we are required to provide a $250 deposit. They refused to give us any checkin information until we gave them the additional money. Apparently, in the words of the booking.com agent this was in the fine print but not listed as an expense. They also had requirements about cleaning the apartment and stripping the beds and taking the garbage out. There is no on site place to take the garbage. They required us to drive it down to a nearby parking lot and deposit it in the city refuge. All the dishes had to be washed and replaced in the cabinets before we left or we would be charged $50 more. If we didn’t take the garbage that was another $50 charge. In addition when we arrived there was less than 6 inches of toilet paper left on the roll. There are no paper towels. They just nickeled and dimed constantly. I had to take pictures of everything if I wanted to prove the condition of the property at Checkout. I would never deal with these people again or Booking.com.

Positive: Staff was excellent, Laureen checked us and was courteous and informative. We asked how to get to the apartment. She told that Frederic, the manager of the series of flats is a taxi driver. He drove us there for a very reasonable price. He also took us to and from Caen the next day.of all he rescued us when the transit strike cancelled our return train . He drove us very early from Bayeux to CDG airport. heating was excellent, area surrounding was nicely quiet and centrally located. Negative: Th showers were smaller than accustomed.

Important to know
This was listed as a 2 bathroom rental, which was important to me and one of the main reasons I booked it. However, it had a single toilet and 2 showers. 2 bathrooms means 2 toilets. So if that is important to you, this is not a 2 bathroom rental. Also in the room with 2 single beds, one of them was so uncomfortable it could not be used. Otherwise it is a nice apartment in a good location.

Negative: - We hebben melding gemaakt van defect toilet (toilet bleef doorspoelen), maar was tot vertrek (3 dagen later) nog niet opgelost. - 4 bekers aanwezig en geen theeglazen (appartement isvoor 6 personen). - In beschrijving bij boeken staat dat er iemand naar het appartement komt om de sleutel af te geven, maar voor aankomst kregen we bericht dat we sleutel ergens moesten ophalen. - Als je graag met het raam open slaapt is dit appartement wellicht niet handig. 2 van de 3 slaapkamers liggen aan de weg waar veel verkeer langskomt en 's morgens om half 7 komt de vuilnisauto / veegauto langs.

Positive: Clean spacious and well provisioned apartment that met needs of 4 adults easily. The location in town was perfect, easy to find, easy to park ( cheap payable car parking right outside, free parking 2 mins walk either side - none ever busy) , easy walk into town and a great base for us to visit the Normandy landing sites. Negative: Nothing to criticise. I would say, be aware that it is a Town centre site so some street noise inevitable (occasional and brief loud individuals not crowds) but shut windows block this. Also, be aware that key collection is from a different location, not far but have this address handy and navigate to there first.

Positive: Nice location. good rooms and facilities in the apartment Negative: The free parking is a 10-minute walk away from the apartment despite there being a large car park right outside . You can park there for free overnight but need to move your car to the free one after 9 am. We had to drive to the office to pick up the keys once we had arrived at the apartment. This was not communicated to us until we got there after a five-hour drive. The office is a ten-minute drive away. The host was apologetic and pleasant though. As vegetarians, there was very little choice in the surrounding restaurants and bars when we wanted to eat out.

Great location, very roomy!
Positive: Excellent location and ample free public parking in close proximity. There's a lot of room for a family and large group. I love the windows in every room for fresh air. Having said that, of course it is also subject to street noise. On Saturdays there is a market across the street, if was lovely. There's an abundance of patisseries, restaurants, boulangeries within a block. Overall al wonderful stay. Negative: Having more fans for use in the summer would be great. Windows are great but at night, it could loud to have it all open.

Positive: propreté de l'appartement accessibilité par ascenseur facilité de parking pour le véhicule appartement fonctionnel situation géographique apprécié ( près des commerces et des lieux de visite) Negative: le rideau dans la chambre enfant (2 lits)qui laissait entrer le lumière le matin très tôt dans cette même chambre un lit empêchait l'ouverture de la fenetre il manquait un balai

We loved staying in Bayeux! Very clean and comfortable. The location was great and there is a fantastic bakery right across the street. We lucked out with our timing and spent some time buying fruit at the Saturday market right across the street. My only complaint about the house is that there is only one toilet.

Le logement est spacieux, confortable et fidèle aux illustrations. Il est très bien équipé pour cuisiner, à condition de ne rien oublier d'acheter niveau nourriture (y compris les condiments). La conciergerie est à disposition quand on en a besoin et Nicolas est réactif. Le séjour a été globalement agréable, à ceci près qu'il a été pollué par une famille de pachydermes au pas militaire au dessus de nous ; l'isolation est tellement mauvaise que ça nous a été insupportable d'entendre les coups de basses au fil de leurs déplacements ! J'ai voulu prévenir l'agence, mais compte-tenu de notre court séjour, mes parents m'en ont dissuadé. Heureusement, cela se limite uniquement à une partie du logement, le salon notamment. Dernier regret : l'horaire de check-out assez contraignant (à 10h en vacances, je suis en général encore au fond de mon lit !), mais c'est un désagrément très commun sur AirBarnabé, alors je ne peux pas blâmer cet hôte en particulier. Malgré ces quelques écarts, l'essentiel reste que nous ayons été très satisfaits.
