You will live in Banville, a charming little town in Normandy with around 800 inhabitants. Banville is located less than 3 kilometers from Juno Beach (Mike sector), the landing zone for Canadian troops and liberated on June 6, 1944 by the Royal Winnipeg Rifles21.
This former presbytery was built in the 18th century on a plot of 4000 m2, belonged to the priest of the time until the 19th century.
It was bought by the mayor of the village around 1830 who gives it back to the municipality
It is occupied by successive priests who welcome and serve meals to the poor.
It was from 1980 that the presbytery was transformed into a gîte for summer rentals.

Great place in touch with nature

Atmosphere of 18th century outside. A lot of space outdoors, cosy yard - so good for dinner. The apart comfortable with all necessary stuff. Very quiet and cool. Recommend
